The UNFFCC works to mitigate climate change and reduce the human impact on the environment. The first COP was held in Berlin in 1995 and since then the conferences have been held annually.

Louis Bolton

Hi, my name is Louis. I'm a first-year student at the University of Manchester, studying mathematics with finance. I started doing Model UN thanks to my high school's MUN club, which led me to chair at the school's own conference and attend various others. I love MUN because it's a great way to keep up to date with current world affairs while meeting new and interesting people. I can't wait to see all of you at NOTTSMUN 2024!

Benny Nguyen

Hi! My name is Benny Nguyen, and I am an exchange student studying Politics & International Relations at the University of Nottingham. Coming from Vietnam, I have been engaging with the Vietnamese MUN community for 4 years now, and I am super excited to bring my knowledge and expertise about MUN from Vietnam to the UK, and see what the community here has to offer. As the president of COP, I am thrilled to bring you some of the topics that are very close to my passions - sustainability and climate change.
